Hi Manuela. I too used to go to the Life with alot of the dependent high school girls and many of the soldiers of 4/16th and 299th. We used to go to the Life every weekend. I would love to relive just one weekend. I used to go with Gore, Pertillo, Brown, Poole, Cruz, Dominique, Belinda and Jazzy, Tara, Sylvia, Reeves and lots of others  that I can't put a name to.

Hey Manuela,

I´m from Göppingen too and I went to the Life the same time. I even met my Ex husband there  (David Brothers) he was in 4/16 th.
I miss it too. It was a great time. No they built a Baumarkt there a few years ago as you might know. I tell everybody that it was build on "holy grounds"

Holy ground???
The last time I went to the LIFE, was when a friend and I went there late at night to find something to eat. Dancing was already over but the pizza corner was still open. So we ordered a pizza and sat down for a drink to wait for the food. The Italian pizza cook had some friends there he talked to. They probably waited for him to finish and go somewhere else together. Now the cook got our late order for 2 pizzas which he did not like at all. Showing his friends how much he did not like the late order he sucked his sputum hard and loud out of his nose and spit it onto the pizzas. Just out of pure coincidence I turned my head towards him and saw him doing this. He did not look back at me. I grabbed my friend and told him to drink up immediately and go, to never come back to this disgusting place.
Sorry - I know there are still a lot of great memories of many people which have their purpose and reason. I had many good times there, too, before this happened. There are two sides to everything!
