I have alot of great memories, who can forget Maggies, schnitzel and potato salad, YUM. I went through some of the pics and see a guy standing in front of the Honey Do, another great resteraunt. I see people talk about club Life, does anyone remember the name of the Country and Western club on the way to Stuttgart? great place. I have alot of pics that I will be working on getting posted.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

		<description>&lt;P&gt;album 2 photo 55,, I'am sure that is the entrance to the post theater,, it looks like someone is decorating it for Christmas,,,but in 59 &amp;amp; 60 you could walk through there, and go into the &quot;snack bar&quot; through the parking lot entrance..goooood hamburgers there....and a jukebox with 50s music...we had the best of 2 worlds.....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The 3rd car on the right&amp;nbsp;was my (green) 1967 VW, I bought the&amp;nbsp;car at Goeppingen VW Heinz Hoffman&amp;nbsp;was the (salesman). The price was $1,440.00 &quot;new&quot; and the monthly payment was $41.00.....if I had to guess, I would say, &quot;that picture was taken early spring 1968. I remember the guy taking pictures..I was going in the PX.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

		<title>4th Quartermaster Battalion Reunions</title>

		<description>&lt;P&gt;I was at Cooke Barracks in 1957-1959 with Company A 4th Quartermaster Battalion 4th Armored Division. Cooke Barracks &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;May 2007 4th Quartermaster Battalion Held our 1st Reunion May 6 through May 9 in Pigeon Forge, TN. We had 93 total in attendance including wives, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters and friends.&amp;nbsp; 95% of the men in attendance &amp;nbsp;had not seen each other since we left Germany in 1959 and 1960.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Retired W0-4 Herman L Strickland attended. He was 85.&amp;nbsp; He was Officer in charge of the Motor Pool 1957-1960. &lt;br&gt;Retired Lt Colonel Donald Walden Company Commander of B Company was able to attend. He was 84 years.&lt;br&gt;Clare Robbins widow of our Company Commander&amp;nbsp; Retired Lt Colonel Richard C Robbins and her son Richard, who was born on&amp;nbsp;Thanksgiving Day 1958 came with her. Ray Brief retired Sgt Major E-8&amp;nbsp;was able to attend &lt;BR&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR&gt;Our second reunion was in May 3 through&amp;nbsp;May 6&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;2009. We had 126 Total attending. Retired WO-Herman L Strickland age 87 came with his two daughters. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Retired Colonel Noel S Schvaneveldt and his wife attended. Colonel Schvaneveldt&amp;nbsp;was 82 years. Colonel Schanvanevelt was Officer in charge&lt;BR&gt;Motor Pool Platoons and Class III.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He was our leader for Company A Honor Guard. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&amp;nbsp;We also had&amp;nbsp;Three Men&amp;nbsp;who enlisted in 1957 &lt;BR&gt;and&amp;nbsp;retired from the U S Army. Ray Brief, SGT Major E-8, Donald L Moser, E-7 and George W Reece, Jr Staff Sgt&amp;nbsp;E-7 &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Our third reunion will be May 2, 3, 4, 2010&amp;nbsp;Pigeon Forge, TN We are expecting 60 total to attend. WO-4 Herman L Strickland Retired(88 years old)&amp;nbsp;will bring his son Richard T Strickland, who was&amp;nbsp;8 years in 1957 at Cooke Barracks. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Lt Colonel Richard C Robbins (Deceased) Son Richard Robbins and his grandson&amp;nbsp;(Rick Robbins who was 15 months old) when Lt Colonel Richard C Robbins passed away are planning to attend.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;U S Army retire, Ray Brief and George Reece will attend &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;For Information Lt Colonel Richard C Robbins is buried on the Campus of Clemson&amp;nbsp;University, Clemson, S C. His wife Clare live in Lexington, S C&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;If you plan to have a reunion, do not wait until 50 years later. We had over 200 men in Company A. 101 of these men have passed away. Still looking for 38 men. Our Battalion had Company B and HQ and HQ. These men are not included in the total. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Should&amp;nbsp;we have another reunion in 2011 come and join us. You&amp;nbsp;may be a stranger when&amp;nbsp;you attend. 		<description>&lt;P&gt;1st signal co (P) 1st Spt Bn. 79-81,&amp;nbsp;Our First Sergeant&amp;nbsp;was&amp;nbsp;1SG Applewhite, he came over from the Blue Spaders. Ligon was the post CSM.&amp;nbsp; We made sure that we stayed of his radar!!!&amp;nbsp; Lived in the barracks that was right across the street from the PX.&amp;nbsp;Great times.... GA week, the NCO club, EM club, and can't forget the Life club...&amp;nbsp;made a lot of good friends...Traylor, Cooper, Booker, Plaza and&amp;nbsp;Jones my room mates, Rodriquez, Wilson, Joy, SSG Ingram,&amp;nbsp;Sgt Bradford,&amp;nbsp;Rollerson, just to name a few.... &amp;nbsp;I have to say.....after 22 years in the Army with 4 tours in Germany...Gopp was the best assignment by far!!&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
